A teacher gives your child individual support as they adjust, taking time to build a familiar, trusting relationship at your child’s pace.

Updates about their day

We share photos through Kids Note and daily notes about meals, sleep, and how your child is feeling.

Diapers are welcome

Your child does not need to be potty trained to attend. We help with potty training at school.

ABOUT WIZISLAND

Get to know
our school.

WizIsland opened in 2004. We welcome children ages 2–5 for preschool through Kindergarten at our school on South Oxford Avenue.

Families of every background are welcome at WizIsland. Korean culture is part of our school community, including the food we serve. We teach children in English and offer Korean as an additional activity.

Our director has 25 years of preschool experience in the United States and five years running an early childhood education institution in Korea. Come meet our team and tell us about your child.

Before
you visit.

What are the school hours?

We open at 8 a.m. and close at 6 p.m. We offer full-day enrollment; there is no half-day option.

What meals are included?

Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack are included. Please discuss your child’s dietary needs with us before enrolling.

How many children are there per teacher?

Staffing varies by age:

  • Age 2: one teacher for six children, plus an assistant teacher.
  • Age 3: one teacher for eight children, plus an assistant teacher.
  • Age 4: one teacher for ten children.
  • Age 5: one teacher for ten children.

During your visit, we can explain the staffing and group your child would join.
